November 2010.  Bujutsu Cleveland (Budo Cleveland) and its instructors is / are no longer affiliated with the Mayfield Academy of Self Defense.  Minna Jiu Jitsu, while a good method of self defense, incorporates practices and technique that are not in line with the traiditional Bujutsu or Budo and the purity of the martial way.  We wish Mr. Kovacs and the Mayfield Academy of Self Defense good luck and blessings in their art knowing that they have provided nice training to many.
 

August 2010.  Bujutsu Cleveland (Budo Cleveland) will onlly incorporate practices and techniques that are in line with the traiditional Bujutsu or Budo and the purity of the martial way.  Bujutsu Cleveland will only concentrate on hard core self defense, martial arts, combat martial arts, combat techniques.

Please do not inquire if you are looking for a sport, if that it your interest there are many martial arts studios to accommodate your wishes.
